     JERUSALEM
     
     
    A car bomb exploded at 7:40 in the morning in the Talpiot industrial/commercial zone in Jerusalem. Seven people were injured, one moderately. The Islamic Jihad has claimed responsibility for the attack. (March 27)

     
       SUICIDE BOMBING AT
     FRENCH HILL JUNCTION,
     JERUSALEM

    28 people were injured, two seriously, in a suicide bombing directed against a northbound No. 6 bus at the French Hill junction in Jerusalem. Hamas claimed responsibility for the attack. Baby carriages are removed from the bus after it was evacuated. (March 27)

       MORTAR ATTACK AT
     ATZMONA
     
     
    On the evening of April 3, Palestinians fired three mortar shells at Atzmona in Gush Katif, critically wounding a 15 month-old boy, Ariel Yered, who was playing outside his house. He arrived at Soroka Hospital in Beersheba with no measurable pulse or respiration. Ariel, who suffered brain damage, has been released from hospital.
